Here is the mecha I sent to the 2001 Mecha challenge. You could submit an entry in 3 catagories and I
choose one where you needed to create a medieval robot. I won "Best of Show".
The contest judge was Noboru Ishiguro, director of classic anime series "Space Battleship Yamato" and
Superdimensional Fortress Macross". He said of my design, "[This entry] used the time period concept and
integrated the feeling very well. The design was well done and thoroughly explained. The technical aspect
was completed at a high level." I am seriously proud of that.
